Shem is an actor of British and Jamaican heritage, who was born and raised in London.


Shem has always had a love for singing, dancing and acting and was lucky enough to attend The BRIT School from age 14-18, studying Musical Theatre. In 2020, Shem graduated from Arts Educational London, with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. He is represented by Curtis Brown.


Shem recently completed the PoC/ BAME Role Models Programme with Stonewall following his passion for advocacy and positive representation. 


Being a part of the Black History School is a great joy for Shem as it marries his love for performing with his passion for advocating the importance of learning about Black Stories.
